The Fast X official trailer takes us on a ride into the tenth film of the saga
Buckle up your seatbelts and check out the brand new Fast X official trailer. As the first part of two-part finale of the Fast and Furious saga, Fast X premieres in theaters on May 19, and it couldn’t come any sooner.
We’re getting a whole lotta bang for the buck here in the almost 4-minute Fast X official trailer. There’s a whole lot to cover as the film’s tenth installment, and how Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto has built an entire family throughout his adventures. Give us a break, we couldn’t mention Fast X without mentioning the importance of family.
In the film’s description, it states “Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything— and everyone —that Dom loves, forever.”
As seen in the Fast X official trailer, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award winner Rita Moreno plays Dom’s grandmother, who tells Toretto’s crew, “I know that this road has been very hard. And yet here you are. Building this magnificent family.”
Flashbacks from Fast Five show Dom’s crew taking out a drug kingpin in Rio De Janeiro. The kingpin’s son Dante, played by Aquaman himself Jason Mamoa, now wants revenge.
“You built such a beautiful life,” says Dante. “Filled with love and family. You stole that from me. My future, my family, and now I’m gonna break yours piece by piece.”
Fast X newcomers are also highlighted in the teaser, which include Oscar winner Brie Larson, The Suicide Squad’s Daniela Melchior, and Reacher actor Alan Richtson.
We’re super hyped for the near tail end of the Fast and Furious saga. In case you missed the date, Fast X premieres May 19.
