Making its debut on master race, Ghost of Tsushima PC launches on May 16
Sucker Punch Productions, the developers behind the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima PC release, have officially announced their 2020 masterpiece will be arriving on Steam and Epic Games Store. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the action-adventure game has been exclusive to the PS4 and PS5, until now.
Just like the original game, the Ghost of Tsushima PC game is set during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. The player takes control of Jin Sakai, a samurai who is tasked with defending Tsushima Island. Jin has to decide whether to fight honorably by adhering to the warrior code or by taking shortcuts that are less honorable in order to drive the Mongols back.
There is a sizable open area in the game that may be explored on foot or on horseback. When facing enemies, the player can choose to engage in a direct confrontation using Jin’s katana or to become a legendary warrior known as “the Ghost” by using stealth tactics to assassinate opponents.
Sony made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog and on Twitter that the game will make its arrival on May 16. The game will be released in the Director’s Cut version with all the extras, including the Iki Island expansion and the multiplayer “Legends” mode.
Sony-owned Nixxes Software is in charge of the Ghost Of Tsushima PC release, which includes customized mouse and keyboard controls, graphics settings, and an unlocked frame rate. Along with many other features, the PC version supports ultra-wide displays and has optimizations for resolutions of 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9. It also has upscaling methods for Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XESS.
Those who can’t wait can pre-order the game on both Steam and Epic Games Store today.
