Mage Mercy has arrived in the Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 1
The Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 1 event has gone live in Blizzard Entertainment’s legendary competitive FPS and features returning game modes and new color variants of some of the most popular hero skins in the game. Can you believe this marks the sixth anniversary of Overwatch? A-mei-zing!
Similar to before, the seasonal exclusive events from Archives, Halloween Terror, Summer Games, Winter Wonderland, and Year of the Tiger can be playable in the Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 1. Blizzard has also brought back new white colorways of the Blackhardt/Bloodhardt Reinhardt, Cultist Zenyatta, Nevermore Reaper, Oni Genji, and Witch Mercy skins. We’re gonna guess that Mage Mercy and Steelhardt Reinhardt will be the most popular.
Blizzard states that Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 1 will be the first of 3 anniversary events this year. The festivities of the first event will run from April 5 through April 26. No details have been released of the Vol 2 and Vol 3 launch dates but Blizzard has confirmed they will replace the forthcoming seasonal events such as Summer Games and Haloween Terror. We’ll be sure to inform you as soon as the news leaks out.
There’s also some bonus unlockables that will be returning in the upcoming weeks. For those who have missed out on Overwatch’s limited time cosmetic event challenges from the past, there’s no better time than now to login and claim the sprays, icons, poses, and skins for Bastet Ana, Combat Medic Baptiste, and Nano D.Va.
