The highly anticipated new Dead Space remake is lurking just around the corner. Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Motive have released the Dead Space official launch trailer which showcases game protagonist Isaac Clarke and the eerie USG Ishimura mining vessel.

The new Dead Space remake appears to be a quality upgrade that’s been modernized for the current generation of video game hardware. Players assume the character of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who’s part of a crew responding to what’s believed to be a normal maintenance routine on the mining vessel USG Ishimura. The engineering team finds themselves stranded aboard the doomed USG Ishimura and rapidly realizes that something is seriously wrong with the vessel.

The game looks better than ever, and the Dead Space official launch trailer offers fans of the survival horror genre one last peek at what they can anticipate from one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2023. For the brave, take a look at the trailer below.

This month on January 27, the new Dead Space remake will be released for $69.99 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC across Origin, Steam, and Epic Games. There’ll also be a $79.99 digital deluxe edition that comes with three special suits and two different suit textures. Those who purchase on Steam will receive a free copy of Dead Space 2.
