FINALLY, there’s a Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster release date
Considered one of the best RPGs of all time, the Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster release date has been announced for February 2022. The sixth entry to the Final Fantasy series has been long overdue for any kind of remaster since its initial launch dating all the way back in 1994.
Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster is probably the most eagerly anticipated of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster releases. The original Final Fantasy VI (FF6) came out during the “Golden Age of JRPGs”, a time where the Super Nintendo video game console was the king of Japanese role playing video games.
Besides its ports on the PlayStation console, the Game Boy Advance handheld, and the frowned upon mobile-optimized version for Android and iOS, the Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster release date is definitely a feel good moment for the JRPG community and its fans. Now Square Enix just needs to showcase an exclusive trailer for nostalgia’s sake.
The original FF6 Pixel Remaster release date was delayed in order to give the game more polish. Square Enix revealed on social media that Final Fantasy 6 Pixel Remaster will be released early next year in February 2022.
