Fátima de Juan Pretty Thug Exhibition

L21 Gallery presents the Fátima de Juan Pretty Thug exhibition

Beautiful pop-inspired creatures are currently being showcased at the Fátima de Juan Pretty Thug exhibition at the L21 Gallery in Mallorca, Spain. Using her specialty, Fátima de Juan’s works were created by using acrylic and spray paint.

A strong female persona can be seen in the majority of the paintings—a character that evolved as Fátima de Juan graffitied on the streets from Canada to her hometown of Palma de Mallorca, The solo exhibition’s name is inspired by a Mobb Deep track of the same title, along with the legendary work of R. Crumb.

Mashup culture, which Francesco Giaveri described as a “carefree mix of styles and references, musical and plastic, distant from each other,” is a recurring theme in Fátima de Juan’s work. We have to admit, the Alligator heels are straight fire.
