The true blue Air Jordan 3 Wizards pay homage to Jordan’s 2001-2002 NBA season
These couldn’t have been announced sooner — the Air Jordan 3 Wizards are finally launching later this month on April 29, and it looks to be one of the many favorites within the AJ3 lineup. Designed with a “True Blue” colorway with matching hues from the NBA’s Washington Wizards basketball team between 1997 to 2007, Nike has done it again in this awesome tribute to Michael Jordan’s history.
The Air Jordan 3 Wizards are officially dubbed as “True Blue and Copper”, with the original developed back in 2001. Many people compare the shoes to the “True Blue” Jordan 3s despite certain differences, notably the “Metallic Copper” trim along the eyelets as well as the Jordan “Jumpman” logo.

This comparison is valid because the 2023 variant is quite similar to the original product. Air Jordan 3 Wizards’ special colorway also features the iconic Elephant Print pattern in addition to the same white tumbled leather structure.
Arriving in all sizes, the Air Jordan 3 Wizards will be available for $210 on Nike.com and select retailers.
