Get a closer look at the Yuto Dunks below
In what might become the hottest Nike Dunk release of 2023, the upcoming Yuto Dunks are the most sought out after sneakers that we’ve come across in quite some time. Easily the SB of the year, and one of the cleanest color combinations to ever set foot on the Dunk silhouette, Yuto’s signature shoe has got every hype beast’s radar on lock.
The Yuto Horigome Nike SB Dunk uses a selection of neutral tones to dress the 2021 Tokyo Olympics gold medalist’s sneakers for this endeavor. The exteriors of the toe boxes, tongues, and quarter panels are left uncolored, and they are surrounded with muted gray Swooshes and overlays made of smooth leather and supply suede.
Under the Nike SB mark on the tongue, the name of the Japanese skater takes the place of the usual Nike Dunk branding, and the lateral heels are inscribed with a cross-feather symbol. “Dusty Pink” is subtly added to the raised areas of the heel of the Yuto Dunk, with brown embellishments running through the collars.
Around the back and across the insoles is where Yuto’s distinctive cross-feather insignia is embroidered. The national flower of Japan and hundreds of pink cherry blossom petals are used in the design. The bottoms are painted entirely in brown, while the Zoom Air midsoles, a cushioning material adored by skaters, are finished with a crisp white finish.
