Watch the Redfall official story trailer below
The new Redfall official story trailer has surfaced the internet and it gives us a glimpse at what’s to come in Arkane Studios’ upcoming vampire first-person shooter game.
We see a character named Ava who offers upbeat words of encouragement at the beginning of the trailer. She claims that a drop of her blood was guaranteed to “free people from sickness and death”.
The first signs of trouble showcased in the Redfall official story trailer are when the people vanished from Redfall, Massachusetts and then reappeared as mostly bloodless corpses. In the aftermath of these incidents, cults began to emerge in an effort to avoid a similar fate by aligning themselves with whoever was responsible for these atrocities.
We also get to see the features of some of the more powerful vampires in the game, indicating that the game would be divided into four sections with vampire overlords in charge of each. These enemies include Miss Whisper with her tentacle-like growths, Bloody Tom with a bloody dagger, The Hollow Man with clawed arms, and Black Sun, which may be the most powerful of all.
Redfall will feature cross-play, allowing players to collaborate with each other regardless of which platform they decide to play on. The game adds several new elements that should help it stand on its own, though it does appear to share many similarities with Dishonored, Arkane Studios’ previous franchise. We won’t have to wait too long to see it all unfold as Redfall launches in a couple months on May 2.
