Now you can have the best of both worlds with the new Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED
With a combination of a crisp QHD resolution, a stunning 15.6-inch OLED display, and a pro-competitive 240Hz refresh rate, the Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED laptop will be the most optimal choice for gamers on the go. Of course, having all the tools you’ll need to be the best portable gamer will come at a high price.
The Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED laptop is packed with the world’s first 1440p 240Hz OLED display. Usually OLED displays on laptops max out at a refresh rate of 120Hz, so this is a huge upgrade. This new generation of the Razer Blade 15 also comes with a 12th-gen Intel Core i9-12900H cpu and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop gpu.
At 400 nits, the 240Hz display isn’t exceptionally bright. Direct sunlight would be a bit jarring to work with, but no one should be taking this bad boy out to the beach. Let’s be honest, the Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED laptop will be in your cave, replacing whichever rig you’re currently working with. That said, OLED burn-in isn’t as bad as it used to be, but we wouldn’t recommend using this for image editing or other color accurate creative work.
Also included in the Razer Blade 15 240Hz OLED laptop is 32GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, an additional M.2 slot, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, an HDMI port, and an SD card reader. Priced at $3,499, the 2022 configuration of the Razer Blade 15 sure is expensive, though it’s not too far off from the price of the previous generation’s but with far superior specs.
Aside from the price, a beefy gaming laptop with both a 240Hz refresh rate and an OLED screen is definitely welcoming since consumers from years prior had to decide on which they preferred between the two. Those who can afford the new luxury will undoubtedly be thrilled if this establishes a trend in gaming laptops.
