PS Plus February 2022 Lineup

It’s time to get in the octagon with the PS Plus February 2022 lineup

With a fine blend of genres, the PS Plus February 2022 lineup has a little something for everyone. Mixing in martial arts with EA’s UFC 4, Frontier Developments’ roller coaster sim Planet Coaster, and Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep by Gearbox Software, February’s games are as diverse as they are action-packed.

As the game industry shifts in 2022, it was important for Sony to come out big with their subscription offerings this month to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. Although it has been reported that Sony is in the works to launch their answer to Microsoft’s extended Game Pass library, for the time being they can only provide high quality content for their current PS Plus subscribers.

The PS Plus February 2022 lineup keeps up with last month’s hits and PS Plus subscribers can claim all three games for free until Monday, February 28. Let’s have a look at what they’ve got.

PS Plus February 2022 Lineup

EA Sports UFC 4 (PS4)

Get into the octagon with EA Sports UFC 4 as it puts the player at the center of each fight. Compete as an amateur and fight your way up to become a UFC star in the new Career Mode. New game mechanics have been introduced including Real Player Motion Technology (RPM Tech) for fluid clinch controls, takedown overhauls, and ground and pounds. Rapper Action Bronson has also joined as a new fighter drop.

Planet Coaster: Console Edition (PS5)

Expand your creativity and build the roller coaster park you’ve always wanted with over 700 pre-made objects that include coasters, facilities, and scenery. Players will need to build new attractions, set prices, and cater to their park visitors while utilizing the game’s Frontier Workshop where they can share their designs with the world.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure (PS4)

In a standalone spin-off of the Borderlands universe, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep will be familiar to fans of Gearbox’s popular co-op looter-shooter. Six Vault Hunters are available to choose from, each with their exclusive skills and builds. Coming just in time before Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches in March, Borderlands fanatics can get their loot fix here.

It’s time to talk about the elephant in the room. Only one of the three games in the PS Plus February 2022 lineup are available on Sony’s new PS5 console, and that’s not going to cut it for much longer. This issue seems to be the only gripe PS Plus subscribers have had going into the new year, and it’s time for Sony to catch up and provide the exact same content for both last generation and current gen consoles.
