Off-White x AF1 Low Brooklyn Launches Tomorrow

Good look getting a pair of the Off-White x AF1 Low Brooklyn

Featured in an “Light Green Spark” colorway, the Off-White x AF1 Low Brooklyn sneaker is finally available after months of waiting, as confirmed by a Nike SNKRS release for Tuesday, September 13. The most recent posthumous creation from Virgil Abloh is decorated in the striking green hue and honors the American designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition.

Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” is a multi-media display of his work that‘s scheduled to be held by the Brooklyn Museum from July 1st, 2022, to January 29th, 2023. To honor the late Abloh at the Museum of Modern Art, Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, and Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the shoes are modeled after previous Off-White Air Force 1 designs.

These AF1s adopt the same color scheme and template as earlier colorways like the “MCA” and “MoMA,” but the upper, midsole, and outsole are instead in the bright lime green color. The zip tie is in a similar shade of green, and the Swoosh is displayed in metallic silver with Off-White’s branding done in white. A second pair of laces are visible in black, and the midsole contains the “AIR” text print.

The Off-White x AF1 Low Brooklyn sneakers will be difficult to find, and considering that this is the first museum-only release since Abloh’s passing, it’s probable that they’ll go for quite a bit on the secondary market. Scheduled to drop tomorrow at 10am ET for $160, the Off-White x AF1 Low Brooklyns will be available via a Nike SNKRS drawing or SNKRS Pass for those in New York City.

Check out more photos of Virgil Abloh’s latest creation below, and good luck with the draw!
