Get ready for the Air Zoom Drive Summit White
The launch of the highly anticipated NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Nike Air Zoom Drive Summit White colorway is just around the corner as Nike has officially provided new imagery for the monochromatic variant of Drake’s signature sneaker silhouette. After first being released in “Black/White”, the shoes have now flipped the script in “White/Black”.
The base layer of the Air Zoom Drive Summit White consists of a powdered white tone, making the sneaker’s shape and textures easier to discern. Breathable mesh covers the toe boxes and side panels while a leather mudguard with holes at the forefoot and panels at the back completes the look.
Atop the heels are Drake’s trademark shooting stars. The soles below are outfitted with angular midsole pieces and striking black undersides. The Nike Swoosh is situated on the lateral side of the forefoot, while NOCTA branding is seen on the pull tabs on the solid black tongue and heel tabs.
Although the Air Zoom Drive’s heel initially appears to be a standard Air unit, it actually has a visible Zoom unit in the heel and another Zoom unit in the forefoot.
As of this writing, neither Nike nor Drake’s NOCTA subsidiary have disclosed any information about the exact release date of the NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive Summit White. Initially, the pair was expected to go on sale this spring for $165 via SNKRS and select retailers. A recent update has got us anticipating a release as soon as the end of this month!
