Experience The Destroyer Of Worlds In The New Oppenheimer Trailer

A new Oppenheimer trailer has landed

Universal Pictures has released a brand new Oppenheimer trailer In anticipation of the release of Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster. This cinematic spectacle draws its inspiration from the Pulitzer Prize winning tome, “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer,” written by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin.

The new Oppenheimer trailer primarily focuses on J. Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist and director of the Los Alamos Laboratory who oversaw the design of the atomic bomb. Played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders, A Quest Place Part II), he struggles with the gravity of what he and his colleagues are producing.

Unlike earlier teasers, which highlighted Murphy’s portrayal of the infamous scientist, this trailer focuses on Matt Damon’s portrayal of Manhattan Project director Leslie Groves, highlighting the heist movie’s race against time theme. Along with the numerous tests and experiments carried out at the Los Alamos Laboratory, it also highlights the hasty construction of the secret towns where scientists and their families lived and worked on this covert endeavor.
