The New Balance Numeric 480 will arrive in “Navy” and “Rust”
In a reinterpretation of the 480 silhouette, two New Balance Numeric 480 colorways have debuted, setting up shop for skateboarders everywhere. Featuring a reinforced toe and a FuelCell foam backed sole unit, the Boston based footwear company has officially launched their new sneaker at select skate shops.
When looking closely, the upper of the shoe features suede, leather, and synthetic accents that work together to reproduce the retro look. The debut New Balance Numeric 480 colorways include “Navy” which covers the upper with white accents and maroon details at the tongue. The “Rust” colorway features the aforementioned maroon tongue in addition to its distinctive orange hue.
The 480 was initially released by New Balance to suit the needs of the basketball audience, and was once even designed in collaboration with Junya Watanabe. Now, the New Balance Numeric 480 will be targeting skateboarders in search for clean aesthetics while maintaining durability on the concrete.
