Here’s how to get all of the challenges and rewards for the Halo Infinite Interference event
Running from May 3 to May 16, the Halo Infinite Interference event has kicked off for Season 2: Lone Wolves and offers fresh new cosmetics. So far, Season 2 has introduced us to new maps, modes, and an upgraded battle pass that’s quite welcoming. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air to get some free loot in this limited time event.
The brand new Last Spartan Standing game mode is significantly different from what we’ve seen in the past. It involves a Big Team Battle map, predetermined loadouts, and five respawns per player. As its name suggests, the last spartan alive will claim victory. Points gained from kills and assists will account for loadout upgrades while weapon drops will also spawn on the map. Those eliminated can either stay and watch the rest of the match or leave without being penalized.
Last Spartan Standing will be the primary game mode to complete the Halo Infinite Interference event challenges. The structure of challenge completions are nearly identical to previous limited-time events, such as Fracture Tenrai. Players will play to complete the orange marked event specific challenges such as using a specific weapon or achieving melee attacks from behind in Last Spartan Standing matches.
Because Last Spartan Standing allows players to exit a match after respawns are depleted, the event challenge progress can become delayed. Don’t worry if your kills and wins are accounted for immediately after exiting the match, as the match has to officially end before its progress and XP count toward the Halo Infinite Interference event pass.
Due to the delayed challenge progress and tracking, any player that logs into Halo Infinite prior to the end of the Interference event on May 16 will receive 5 free Challenge Swaps and Double XP Boosts. Starting on May 10, each completed Interference challenge will unlock two tiers of the event pass. There’s even more good news—the Last Spartan Standing game mode and new Breaker Big Team Battle map will be available long after the event has concluded, as they are permanent Season 2 features.
