Darth Vader returns in the Obi-Wan Kenobi official trailer
The Obi-Wan Kenobi official trailer is here on Star Wars Day! Disney+ has released a new trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will premiere later this month. The show will star Ewan McGregor in a return of his renowned role as the Jedi Master.
The series is set ten years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and nine years prior to Episode IV – A New Hope, in a time where the Jedi Order has all but vanished. Obi-Wan Kenobi suffered his greatest defeat when Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, fell to the dark side and became the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
Hayden Christensen will be returning to reprise his role as Darth Vader. Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie are among the newcomers to the cast. Check out the trailer below!
Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow and produced by Ewan McGregor himself along with Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, and Joby Harold. The series will premiere on Disney+ on May 27. Happy Star Wars Day!
