Cyberpunk 2077 was just recently released at the end of 2021 and already has had a 50% off sale on the game, which puts into view how the game is doing poorly. CD Projekt had been working on this game for 8 years and fans have been waiting for its release and most of the fans were disappointed.
The game received high amounts of criticism and negative reviews on the internet. Editors took to social media to create memes about the game’s performance and in-game glitches that happened frequently. One of the tremendously negative aspect of the game was the poor optimization for PS4 and Xbox One users, who make up a large audience of players.
Since the Cyberpunk 2077 price drops, many fans will see the desperate attempts to keep getting copies sold.
Although CD Projekt Red is receiving hate for the game there are still fans who love the game and enjoy playing in an open world free play game based in the future year of 2077. The game received a 7/10 on Steam, which is not a harsh rating. CD Projekt Red is working as hard as they can to produce new updates and patches to fix the game’s glitches and they are giving last-gen console users a free upgrade to next-gen.
The game will also receive a free DLC by the end of the year to try to improve reviews and the overall liking of Cyberpunk 2077. Some people feel that the game will not stay at the $30 price range because of new updates creating hope for the title.
Even if Cyberpunk 2077 Price Drop is only for a short time, it will bring new players into the game and increase CDPR’s number of sold copies.
