Exclusive to Old-Order.com, the BBiMP Bugs Bunny shoes retail for $110
What’s up doc — the new pair of BBiMP Bugs Bunny shoes have launched. Taking inspiration from the classic Looney Tunes character, these shoes won’t exactly allow you to jump any higher than you already can, but at least you can attempt to in style.
Fans of the Looney Tunes mascot may now rock these whimsical sneakers, which fuse Bugs’ enormous stompers with the vintage Jack Purcell style. The BBiMP Bugs Bunny shoes feature a toe cap that is cartoonishly oversized, which is quite fitting to the look and doesn’t seem too far off.
With black leather, white stitching, and laces, the remainder of the sneaker is very straightforward. There’s no kind of branding to be found that obviously displays the Looney Tunes reference, although a few intricate details do hint at the nod to Bugs as seen on the logo inside, the bandage on the back, and the skeletal detailing on the outsole. Tastefully done here.
In recent years, BBiMP has gained recognition for its absurd and visually striking releases. Some of its most notable works include a burger sneaker, a sneaker with an integrated digital pet, and a sneaker with a full-scale Chucky head attached.
This also isn’t the first time Bugs Bunny has been featured on a sneaker. In 2020, Converse sneakers and the Nike LeBron 18 Low both featured him. Bugs has also been involved with the Air Jordan line for a long time. He had an appearance in the well-known 1992 commercial “Air Jordan vs. Hare Jordan”, as well as silhouettes including the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” and the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny”.
