2023 Sony World Photography Awards Winners Announced

Check out the 2023 Sony World Photography Awards winners

The annual 2023 Sony World Photography Awards winners have been announced by Sony and the World Photography Organisation. The program was started 16 years ago to honor photographers of all levels, from amateurs to professionals.

The competition this year had close to 500,000 submissions, including photographs of still life, travel, street life, sports, nature, and animals. “If pictures act as role models, we, photographers, also shape the view of people with our publications. Through my pictures, I want to show dignity, diversity, perfection and also (supposedly) imperfection in people,” said 2021 award winner Astrid Susanna Schulz.

Prize money for the 2023 Sony World Photography Awards winners is $25,000 USD, and they also get Sony digital cameras and a feature within the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition and book.
