Yohji Yamamoto collabs with Adidas once again for the Y-3 x Adidas 4D Halo Runner
The Y-3 x Adidas 4D Halo Runner is another result of bold and creative collaboration between Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto and German sports footwear brand Adidas. With a unique polyurethane heel cage, this pair of sneakers surely stands out from the crowd, and debuts during the 20th anniversary of Yamamoto’s high-fashion brand, Y-3.
The Y-3 x Adidas 4D Halo Runner is supported by an outsole made of Continental rubber and Adidas’ 4D midsole, which is the same as previous iterations. Other features include a black PRIMEKNIT upper with overlays constructed in suede and leather, a debossed Y-3 logo at the tongue, and a suede lining on the shoe’s heel.
The sneaker is symbolic of Y-3 and combines cutting-edge athletic brand technology with the sense of traditional Japanese design. Priced at $500 on the Adidas website, the 4D Halo Runners are now available.
