Riot Games brings in a new character in the VALORANT Gekko agent trailer
As we approach Episode 6 Act II, developer Riot Games has debuted a new VALORANT Gekko agent trailer that gives us an overview of the character’s unique kit. The Los Angeles based initiator agent has abilities unlike no other.
Gekko’s kit revolves around Dizzy, Wingman, Thrash, and Mosh Pit, four cute cuddly creatures that can scout, shoot, explode, and pounce at enemies in all directions. If you’re as confused as we are, don’t worry, we’ll cover each one of these in detail.
Let’s start off with Dizzy. Gekko can fire Dizzy into the air. Dizzy then charges and releases plasma blasts that blind enemies in her line of sight. After a brief cooldown, Dizzy can be retrieved by Gekko.
Wingman seeks out the first enemy in sight and blasts them with a concussive. Wingman can also be retrieved, and is able to defuse or plant Spikes, just as long as Gekko has it in his inventory.
Thrash’s ability lunges her forward and explodes while detaining enemies in her area of effect. All creatures can be reclaimed, but Thrash can only be reclaimed once.
Mosh Pit, as seen in the VALORANT Gekko Agent trailer, can be thrown similar to a grenade, and in both overhand and underhand motions. Upon landing, Mosh Pit duplicates himself on a puddle and explodes within that area.
Along with Gekko, VALORANT Episode 6 Act II will introduce a fresh new battle pass that includes the Tilde Shorty, Setting Records Player Card, Dolla Dolla Bill Y’all Spray, and Cat-Eye Gun Buddy.
