Timberland Built For The Bold Campaign Implements Eco-Innovation

The Timberland Built for the Bold campaign has launched and it uses a worldwide network to help redefine what it means to be “bold”, while firmly establishing the brand’s position in culture as Timberland inspires the bold lifestyle via work and the great outdoors.

“Timberland was built on a foundation of being bold, starting with the birth of our iconic boot, designed to take on the harsh elements of New England,” said Chief Marketing Officer at Timberland, Drieke Leenknegt. “The people we’ve tapped for this new campaign represent the same spirit of boldness that’s at the heart of our brand: believing in something, setting a course, and getting to work to move the world forward.”

Timberland Built For The Bold introduces its new line of Fall/Winter 2022 goods, mixing innovation with eco-friendly materials. “Renewable natural materials and eye-catching design” are included in the company’s GreenStride footwear line, which features several boots utilizing the new eco-tech.

The GreenStride TBL Turbo Hiking boot uses a lightweight OrthoLite outsole, the GreenStride Tree Vault Waterproof boot holds a six inch collar, the Sky Lace-Up boot is constructed with a black rubber heel and front sole, and last but not least, the Cortina Valley Waterproof boot has a thick gumsole. All of these are set to release on September 28.

Also offered in the Timberland Built For The Bold campaign is a unisex multi-pocket “Mountain Town Insulated” jacket in the trademark Timberland yellow color and a blue internal lining. The “Benton,” which has a contrasting green lining, is another jacket that’s featured in the Built for the Bold campaign.

With a series of localized events free to the public, Timberland is also encouraging Londoners to “roll up their sleeves and release their “bold”. On September 14, an open mic night dubbed UD presents “Bold Steals the Spotlight” will mark the beginning of a series of workshops. The sessions will be conducted at Village Underground in Shoreditch, East London, in collaboration with the London-based music organization United Development.
