Tom Holland is the main character in this film he plays a young man that was raised in Cleveland. Tom’s character falls in love and then enlists in the military to serve the country. He also suffers from an extreme opioid addiction that started from him trying to get his memories of combat out of his mind.
The film will definitely be an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least. The Russo Brothers share a bond with the story being told in the film. They both are from Cleveland but the end of the story is different between Nico and the Russo Brothers. Joe Russo wanted to make it clear that they grew up the same but went on different paths: “he had a very similar upbringing to us. He just had a very different journey than we did.”.
The character Nico works at the same restaurant as Joe Russo did except it was ten years apart Joe says, “I worked at the same restaurant that Nico worked at, 10 years apart.”
