ATLUS will reveal even more Persona 3 Reload news on each month’s Full Moon
Persona 3 Reload, a remake of the classic PlayStation 2 JRPG, was surprisingly announced at this year’s Summer Games Fest. Game developer ATLUS has revamped the classic’s graphics and added new songs to the timeless soundtrack, along with quality-of-life updates to the Persona 3 remake.
2007 saw the North American debut of Persona 3. It rapidly distinguished itself from comparable RPGs by having a cast of high school students combating supernatural forces, dating sim components, and a novel calendar-based growth system. With the help of a small but devoted cult following, it received more English releases and has had a significant impact on many other titles coming from other game devs.
According to ATLUS, the official release date of the Persona 3 remake is slated for February 2, 2024. The gameplay of the RPG was also shown in the game’s trailer, with emphasis on the protagonist’s interactions and cutscenes with other Persona 3 NPCs such as Ken Amada, Koromaru, Aigis, and Shinjiro Aragaki. The teaser included footage of the battle system and dungeon crawling as well.

Details regarding bonuses and limited editions of the game include a Japan-exclusive Persona 3 Reload Limited Box that features a S.E.E.S. armband, outfit DLC, artbook, OST, and an optional Aigis figure. This costs 17,380 yen ($120) without the figurine and 22,880 yen ($160 USD) with the Aigis. The English website also lists an “Aigis Edition” but lacks the S.E.E.S. armband.
Persona 3 Reload is scheduled to launch on February 2, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
