The Nike Air Max CB 94 Light Iron Ore has been announced for a Fall 2023 release, guar-an-teed! Initially designed for NBA legend Charles Barkley back in 1994, the silhouette features a leather upper adorned with perforations, a high collar for ankle support, and a prominent Air unit in the heel, making it a timeless Nike classic.

The sneaker was a significant part of Nike’s “Air Squared” campaign, which introduced innovative Air Max technology with multiple pressure points. During the 1993-94 NBA season, Barkley himself sported these kicks while playing for the Phoenix Suns, where he averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Since then, the Nike Air Max CB 94 has seen numerous re-releases in various captivating color schemes, solidifying its status as one of the most iconic basketball sneakers in history.

The latest colorway takes the form of the CB 94 Light Iron Ore colorway, which will retail for $170 and available on both the SNKRS app and at Nike retailers. Although the sneaker will only be available in men’s sizes, women can still cop by going down one-and-a-half sizes.

Featuring Nike’s “White Bone” leather uppers and “Black” and “Golden Wheat” accents, the CB 94 Light Iron Ore includes additional detailing from bootie sock liners to weaved laces with large eyelets and heel tabs. Mini Swooshes, “NIKE” embroidery, rubberized tongue badges, “NIKE AIR” heel plates, and printed insoles are among the branding on the shoe. Black Air-assisted midsoles and contrasting rubber outsoles complete the shoe’s aesthetic.

The CB 94 Light Iron Ore will be priced at $170 and is expected to release in just a couple of weeks from now.
