New Post Malone Runaway Documentary Launches Today

The new Post Malone Runaway documentary is out on Amazon Freevee

Featuring Drake, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Barker, and Niall Horan, the new Post Malone Runaway documentary follows the Grammy-nominated hip-hop singer songwriter through his 2019 North American “Runaway” tour. It also features live concerts, backstage footage, and private interviews with the artist.

“Sometimes I feel like I’m not a real person,” says Posty in the new Post Malone Runaway documentary trailer. “I’m a goofy kid, I like to have fun, but it’s awesome that people still want to hear what’s next—the evolution. I make this music for everybody else, but everybody gives the same feeling back.”

The trailer outlines Post Malone’s journey, showing how he overcame adversity to become a legend. Hector Dockrill, the director of the Runaway documentary said in a statement, “I already knew Post Malone was a force before going on tour. But then, after spending time with him, unfiltered, close, and personal, I very quickly realized he’s unlike anything the world has seen before. He’s a polymath, loyal to his art, a true ‘rock star.’”

On August 12, Runaway will make its streaming premiere on Amazon Freevee. In addition to providing a look at Malone’s life and career with onstage and backstage footage of his 2019–20 tour. The Runaway Tour was eventually canceled with five shows remaining due to the pandemic.

Post Malone’s fourth studio album Twelve Carat Toothache, which features “One Right Now” and “Cooped Up,” was released earlier this year. He also just recently debuted the music video for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” with Doja Cat.
