We guarantee the MSCHF Big Red Boots will go viral
American art collective MSCHF have dropped their latest pair of boots, the MSCHF Big Red Boots. The cartoonish boots take inspiration from the Dora The Explorer character, Boots, but we’d prefer to associate them with Astro Boy. Regardless, its vivid red hue and abnormal sizing should have no issues catching anyone’s attention.
Made with a TPU rubber shell along with EVA sole units, the MSCHF Big Red Boots (or Astro Boy boots) use a very streamlined silhouette that may look super massive and heavy but is actually light in design. MSCHF branding accents are seen under the bottom of the boot between its groovings.
“If you kick someone in these boots they go BOING!” stated MSCHF. “You never design shoes to be shaped like feet. Big Red Boots are REALLY not shaped like feet, but they are EXTREMELY shaped like boots.”

Anyone who rocks the MSCHF Big Red Boots are obviously making a bold fashion statement. The boots stand out from more typical footwear alternatives thanks to their unique design and striking color. It’s a very unique and unconventional look, and we expect celebrities to heighten its popularity as trend setters.
Not gonna lie, if we can get our hands on these Astro Boy boots, we will. You won’t be seeing us jumping around like Mario but it’s surely a fun, fashionable addition for collectors and fashionistas worldwide.
The big red pair of boots will go on sale on February 16 at 8 AM PST for $350, exclusively on the MSCHF website as well as the Sneakers app.
