Marvel Studios Unveil The Marvels Teaser Trailer

The Marvels teaser trailer confirms a November 2023 release

Leading an all-female superhero trio, Brie Larson is back as Captain Marvel as seen in The Marvels teaser trailer that just dropped yesterday. Teyonah Parris (WandaVision) stars as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel) as Kamala Khan.

Taking place after the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, The Marvels teaser trailer gives us a look at the uniting of the three super heroines as they swap places every time their super powers are used. Prior to this teaser, the very first look at the film was exclusively showcased at the 2022 D23 Expo to panel attendees. In that teaser, Kamala Khan swapped places with Carol Danvers.

In this new The Marvels teaser trailer, it picks up with Captain Monica Rambeau (Parris) working with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) at the Saber Space Station. Rambeau transforms into Ms. Marvel when she reaches a point in the time-space continuum, proving that she, along with Danvers and Khan, all possess a special set of abilities.

As the synopsis reads: “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe.”

In addition to the aforementioned cast, Lashana Lynch will star as Maria Rambeau, and Tessa Thompson will join as Valkyrie.
