A BTS look at the Jennifer Lopez Netflix documentary Halftime will showcase at the Tribeca Film Festival
The world debut of the Jennifer Lopez Netflix documentary Halftime will kick off the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival on June 8. Directed by Amanda Micheli, a Tribeca alum, the documentary highlights milestones of J.Lo’s life, such as her 2020 Super Bowl Halftime show performance with Shakira along with her performance at the 2021 Presidential Inauguration.
From her acting career to her musical career, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at JLo’s most private moments as both a mother and an entertainer in the.Jennifer Lopez Netflix Documentary Halftime. It’s truly a great opportunity for her to show the New York audience an understanding of her past and perseverance.
In a press statement about the film’s importance, Tribeca Festival co-founder and Tribeca Enterprises CEO Jane Rosenthal stated, “Tribeca is proud to feature a wide selection of diverse programming that reflects our commitment to equity and inclusion, and we’re eager to premiere this beautiful exploration of J.Lo’s Latina culture and heritage at the United Palace, just blocks away from the Bronx.”
The Jennifer Lopez Netflix documentary Halftime will premiere at the United Palace in Washington Heights located in upper Manhattan, which is actually a few blocks from JLo’s hometown borough, the Bronx.
The legendary Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro, who is the Tribeca Film Festival co-founder, also had some nice things to say about the upcoming documentary: “Powerful storytelling — whether in music, film, or games — encourages us to fight for universal values that bind humanity together.
