Exoprimal – Gameplay Trailer

It’s amazing how many dinos can swarm on screen at once. More details were provided by Capcom as we discovered that Exoprimal will center around an artificial intelligence named Leviathan who unleashes armies of dinosaurs into the planet against the human race. The game will be a co-op action game with some aspects of competition where teams will compete to accomplish goals set by Leviathan. Exoprimal will launch across all platforms in 2023.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – Demo Trailer

Continuing the Capcom Showcase 2022 highlights was the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo trailer that debuted the new expansion for Capsule Computers’ monster hunting franchise. There’ll be a new Jungle environment with returning monsters such as Espinas (Monster Hunter Frontier), Gore Magala (Monster Hunter 4), and Daimyo Hermitar. The demo was announced for both Nintendo Switch and PC players.

Resident Evil 4 Remake – Gameplay Trailer

Our favorite of the Capcom Showcase 2022 highlights has got to be Resident Evil 4 Remake. Leon S. Kennedy receives some more screen time in this dark new gameplay trailer. Capcom did confirm that they would bring modern mechanics to RE4R, and we see that Leon is able to move while aiming down sights—something that wasn’t possible in the original game.

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition – Announcement Trailer

The long-awaited DLC for Resident Evil Village (RE8) has finally been announced as a trailer for Shadows of Rose was revealed. The new expansion will center around the daughter of Ethan Winters, the protagonist from RE7 and RE8. All grown up, Rose seems to have some new type of superpowers as he encounters new enemies. A big feature of this DLC is that it introduces the third-person camera. RE7 and RE8 were both locked in solely first-person.

Also announced was Resident Evil Village’s Mercenaries Mode which will allow the player to play as some of the villains from the game including Lady Dimitrescu and Heisenberg. The Mercenaries: Additional Orders will launch on October 28, 2022, as part of the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Winters’ Expansion DLC.

Wait, that’s not all of the Capcom Showcase 2022 highlights! Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and Resident Evil 7’s next-gen upgrades are available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S starting today. This free update will provide support for 4K resolution, ray tracing, high frame rates, and 3D audio.
