Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal Open Beta Is Live

The Diablo Immortal open beta rolls out today, June 2

It’s 2022 and we’ve got phones—it’s been four long years and now Diablo fans on both PC and mobile can finally get their hands on the free-to-play Diablo Immortal open beta. Just yesterday, the beta was first released on Android and iOS. Now, those on PC are also able to join in on the dungeon crawling experience.

To begin, Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal open beta provides what any Diablo fan would want: an easy to pick up and play hack and slasher. Six classes are available to choose from which include Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. Each character has their own unique set of skills and abilities with class-based armor and weapons.

With the multi-platform release, we’re not confined to solely touch controls. Although they function just fine, controller support is also available on both mobile and PC, which might be the preferred option for most gamers. PC players will be able to play the Diablo Immortal open beta with mouse and keyboard, like the true keyboard warrior they are. Blizzard appears to have provided all options for accessibility, which should be the new standard.

It’s important to note that Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal has quite a large file size. The Diablo Immortal open beta on PC requires about 26GB, so make sure to free up space if needed. For those on mobile, the game downloads as you play. However, make sure to have at least 2.4GB available and and more than 10GB if you want to install everything at once.

Both cross-play and cross-progression are supported between the mobile and PC versions of Diablo Immortal, and all progress achieved in the open beta will be carried over to the final version upon launch.
