Gamers sure have their hands full for the near future as there’s plenty of games for both Xbox and PC players to dig into for the rest of the year and going into 2023. Here’s a quick roundup of the best highlights from the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022.

Forza Motorsport

The eighth Forza Motorsport installment developed by Turn 10 Studios and is scheduled to arrive next spring in 2023. An in-engine gameplay demo showcased the classic Maple Valley track in a fully dynamic time of day presentation. The graphics and attention to detail are simply breathtaking.

Kojima Productions x Microsoft

It’s happening. The legendary video game designer Hideo Kojima is confirmed to be working on an exclusive Xbox game. Known for creating the Metal Gear video game series, Hideo announced at the show that he will be creating a completely new game with Xbox Game Studios that he always wanted to make. Then he vanished out of the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022 like Psycho Mantis.

Persona Coming to Game Pass

You’ll never see it coming—Persona 3, 4, and 5 are heading to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and with Game Pass in the 25th anniversary celebration of the Japanese RPG series. Persona 5 Royal will arrive on October 21 while a date for Persona 3 and 4 are still to be determined. The Persona 25th anniversary is a perfect time for newcomers to catch up on the critically acclaimed series.

Ravenlok

Developed by Cococucumber, Ravenlok is an action-adventure game that shares similar traits to Alice In Wonderland and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch day, Ravenlok looks to be an artistic masterpiece made by the same creators of Echo Generation.

Redfall

Redfall is an open-world, cooperative first-person shooter that is set in the vampire swarmed island town of Redfall, Massachusetts. The first gameplay reveal for Redfall was revealed at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022, and it did not disappoint. Character abilities were introduced such as an invisibility cloak and a machine gun equipped robot. Redfall might be one of the most hyped games of 2023.

Riot Games Coming To Game Pass

Riot Games’ most popular games are heading to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months with an added bonus. All champions will be unlocked for League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift, while Legends of Runeterra will have its Foundations Set unlocked. Select Little Legends will unlock in Teamfight Tactics, and VALORANT have all agents unlocked. Riot Games have confirmed that players will also receive a “bonus experience across select titles.”

Scorn

This game has Aliens and H.R. Giger written all over it. Set to launch on October 21 of this year, the new Scorn trailer shows off some creepy gameplay of the first-person horror adventure. Scorn will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Starfield

To finish the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022, game director Todd Howard went on stage to reveal Bethesda’s upcoming space RPG. Starfield is massive. There’s just no other word to explain the world this game has to offer. Starting out as a space miner, you join up with the last group of space explorers left in the galaxy. There’s a deep custom character creator along with customizable weapons and a spaceship builder. Bethesda confirmed that Starfield will have over 100 solar systems and over 1,000 planets to explore.
