Air Jordan 12 Playoffs Returns NBA All-Star Weekend

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs are coming back

Do you remember the Jordan 12 Playoffs worn by “His Airness “ in ‘97? Rereleased in both 2004 and 2012, the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs colorway will be returning on Saturday, February 19, the same day as the start of the NBA All-Star Weekend.

It’s been a quarter-century since the debut of the AJ12 silhouette, and now that official photos have been published on the Nike website, we can get a good look at the overall design of the Jordan 12 Playoffs. The traditional two-toned black and white colorway is back, with black tumbled leather completing the tongues and base with white overlays on the mudguards.

Silver accents can be found on the top eyelets with Jordan branding on the side of the shoe. The signature “Varsity Red” color is featured on the “Jumpman” logo that’s stitched on the front side of the tongue. In the same color, his jersey number runs up the outsole heel of the Air Jordan 12 Playoffs.

Originally released in 1997 and made popular following Game 1 and Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, the Jordan 12 Playoffs colorway is defined by an iconic moment in basketball history that we’ll never forget. The shoe is set to release at $200 during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Check out the photos below!
